Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford was born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. He began his career in the mid-1960s, starting with small supporting roles in television and film before landing his breakthrough part as Han Solo in Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977). His performance as the roguish and charismatic smuggler quickly captured the audience’s imagination and helped turn Star Wars into one of the most successful film franchises of all time.

Ford went on to reprise the role of Han Solo in multiple Star Wars sequels, including The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), and later films that spanned decades. In addition to his work in Star Wars, Ford became a leading box-office star with iconic roles such as Indiana Jones in the Indiana Jones series and Rick Deckard in Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049.
