Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley (born April 10, 1992) is a British actress best known for portraying Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Her performance as the brave and determined scavenger-turned-Jedi brought strength, vulnerability, and resilience to a new generation of heroes in the Star Wars saga.
Born in London, England, Ridley developed an interest in acting at a young age and trained at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts. Before her breakthrough in Star Wars, she appeared in British television series such as Casualty and Silent Witness, gradually building her experience in the industry.
