Daisy Jazz Isobel Ridley (born April 10, 1992) is a British actress best known for portraying Rey in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Her performance as the brave and determined scavenger-turned-Jedi brought strength, vulnerability, and resilience to a new generation of heroes in the Star Wars saga.
Born in London, England, Ridley developed an interest in acting at a young age and trained at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.
