Hayden – Full Biography
Hayden Christensen (born April 19, 1981) is a Canadian actor best known for portraying Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequel trilogy. His performance as the gifted Jedi Knight who ultimately falls to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader remains one of the most pivotal character arcs in the Star Wars saga.
Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, and raised in Ontario, Christensen began acting in television during the 1990s before transitioning to film. He gained critical recognition for his performance in Life as a House (2001), earning a Golden Globe nomination and establishing himself as a promising young actor.
Christensen first appeared as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and reprised the role in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, where his portrayal of Anakin’s tragic transformation into Darth Vader became a defining moment in the franchise. Years later, he returned to the role in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka, reconnecting with a new generation of Star Wars fans.
