Adam Driver – Full Biography
Adam Driver (born November 19, 1983) is an American actor known for his intense performances and commanding screen presence. He gained worldwide recognition for portraying Kylo Ren (Ben Solo) in the Star Wars sequel trilogy, becoming one of the saga’s most complex and memorable villains.
Born in San Diego, California, and raised in Mishawaka, Indiana, Driver enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after high school and served for nearly three years before being medically discharged following an injury. After his military service, he pursued acting and graduated from the Juilliard School’s Drama Division, one of the most prestigious acting conservatories in the United States.
Driver first gained attention for his role as Adam Sackler in the HBO series Girls (2012–2017), earning multiple Emmy nominations and establishing himself as a rising talent.
His international breakthrough came when he was cast as Kylo Ren in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). He reprised the role in Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), earning praise for bringing emotional depth and vulnerability to the character.
